From 2018 to 2019 I was Programme Lead at NMITE (New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering) in Hereford. NMITE is a university project aiming to transform higher engineering education in the UK with a focus on creating enough engineers with the right industry skills for the future.
Ingenuity Studio was an engagement project providing the opportunity to experience engineering using an array of digital equipment funded by the Garfield Weston Foundation, delivering workshops, resources and seminars on various themes, including the Internet of Things (IoT). I led the team developing Ingenuity Studio from scratch (from storage containers to branding and website) to tour the Hay Festival, The Big Bang Fair, the Royal Welsh Show, the Royal Three Counties Show and more. I developed collaborations with business and educational establishments, venues and events, and received equipment from RS Components, Digital Catapult and Jisc.
