Since 2023, I have co-led the 18+ participation programme Abet at the Sidney Nolan Trust with Antony Mottershead, the Trust’s Curator & Creative Producer.
Abet meets every two months and offers a space for those with an interest in the arts to come together with others to develop their creative thinking and making skills through discussion, research and experimentation.
The group focuses on a specific idea as an ongoing area of enquiry over a period of time and builds an artistic response. Recent sessions have focused on memory mapping, AI and fly posters, land art and sculpture.
